The coming Obama Regime

I find it interesting that so few people seem to pick up on the not so subtle words and phrases that the Obama staff and Democrats use on a daily basis.

Pelosi wants Bush to step aside so Obama can "take over" immediately.

Valarie Jarrett, co-chair of the Obama transition team says; "Obama is prepared to really take power and begin to rule from day one". Since when do we elect rulers?  The last ruler we had was King George III and we didn't elect him.

John Podesta, remember him from the Clinton era?, said; "There's a lot the president can do using his executive authority without waiting for congressional action..."

The 1st amendment to the Constitution will be challenged with the "freedom of information act" which is no more than censorship.

The 2nd amendment will be challenged at every turn.  Sarah Brady said; "I can tell you it hasn't been this good for quite a while!"  The appointment of Rahm Emanuel as chief of staff looms large as an anti-gun activist his entire career.

If you think I am just being an alarmist check out who Obama has appointed as his science adviser; http://www.instituteforenergyresearch.org/2008/12/22/john-holdrens-intolerance-for-dissent/.

It is evident to me that the liberals in the Senate and House and the Obama staff have converted the government by the People to the ruling class of modern day fascism.  Our liberties have already been greatly compromised through years of social programs that have enslaved half of our population and now this incoming administration is ready to go after the other half.

Check out the attached picture, does this look like the humble leader of a free "we the people"?

I'm just say'in, have your pocket Constitutions on hand and stock up for the long haul.

Thanksgiving Aftermath

So all the turkeys have been somewhat devoured, now it is time for leftovers (I love turkey sandwiches), and back to work on Monday.

So much to be thankfull for this year, my boys have good jobs and beautiful and happy families, my mother is well and happy with Tom who gives her love and companionship, Obamas not in office yet (althought you wouldn't know it to listen to the press).

Now I need to get back to work and burn some calories so I don't look like this! Does anyone else feel like this after Thanksgiving dinner?

Moving on

OK so I haven't posted since the election and I want to let everyone who may have seen my blog to know that I haven't put a bullet in my brain pan.

Disappointed? Yes, but not to the point of desperation. I'm apprehensive as to what to expect but I'm trying to be optimistic. I have to believe that this is all part of God's plan and he knows better than we do what has to happen for His purposes to be completed.

I hope that what is happening to our economy and the ridiculous plans of more government programs and higher taxes to solve it will wake up the voting populis to maybe pay attention to what is happening in the world and our once free society. Take the ear buds out and read a book or two about our founding fathers and their vision for America.

Sorry, couldn't help myself.

At any rate lets encourage all who believe in the greatness of the Constitution and our Representative Republic to make their voices know to the incoming administration. As one who has raised a family during the repressive years of the Carter administration, I don't believe that this fragile economy will withstand another season of this type of repressing taxation.

Till my blood pressure goes down.

Are We Doomed?

Watching the talking heads the Sunday before the election and I still cannot believe what I am hearing. How can we flush 232 years of freedom down the toilet for a knee jerk emotional vote that appears to be happening.

Reports of our Military personnel's votes not counting because some state laws make it down right impossible for them to meet their requirements, and yet they will bus school age kids, homeless people who don't even know who is running, and college kids who have been propagandized to by their Marxist professors. ACORN registering everything living and dead multiple times and taking our federal tax money to promote Obama.

The injustices and lies and stupidity is very disheartening.

The only hope, real hope that is not the Obama "hope I get the power to enslave" kind of hope, is that every thinking patriot gets off his butt and votes.

If what the Dem's proclaim to be the right direction is a vote for them across the board, why do they have to cheat the system in order to get their man in. If Obama is the next great leader of our country let the system work legally and let right and justice win out. I'm afraid it is too late to hope this will happen.

You don't believe that the followers of Barrack are voting on emotion? Listen to the interviews of people who come out of his rallies, the lady who said "thank God now I won't have to worry about paying my mortgage and putting gas in my car because Barrack is going to help me.", how about Chris Matthews talking about dribbling down his leg when he hear Obama speak! How about the leader of ACORN screaming in her little squeaky voice "we are going to help elect Barrack Obama". I find this all disgusting and disturbing.

Where is the common sense American? I hope to God he is on his way to the polls on Tues.

Where has American History Gone?

Have you ever wondered why so many of the current crop of young politician seem to want to take us down the road of socialism? Is it that pie in the sky philosphy that Karl Marx wrote about in the Communist Manifesto or is it just a lack of understanding of the history of the failure of socialism in every country that has tried it or is it a lack of understanding of our history and the history of our democracy?
I think the answer lies here; http://americancivicliteracy.org/

Baffled?

I am baffled by the support of Barrack Obama, I can't understand the mind set that ignores or simply disregards his history of corrupt Chicago style politics, his association with know radicals and down right hatred of our democratic (or at least once was) society. Not even considering the right wing bloggers and some of the weird e-mail you get about Obama, his own writings and know associations and his mentors and pastors and instructors and the history of his travels and overseas connections should be enough to scare the living daylights out of you!!

I'm baffled by the news media's unwillingness (up to today's story about his association with the terrorist Bill Ayers,http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/04/us/politics/04ayers.html?_r=1&oref=slogin) to go after stories and investigate real treats to our society.

I'm baffled by those who still comment on the VP debate and say that Biden had control of the facts when after the debate it has been shown that most of the quick facts that he was spouting off, and I will admit that it sounded impressive at the time, where just plain false. I believe that this is a liberal tactic, to spew out "facts" that are intentionally false but sound good to make a point, knowing that most people will never realize or care that they are false. The Clintons where masters at this and they must have a wing at Columbia and Harvard and any other so called ivy league school that teaches it to "up and comers".

I'm baffled that John McCain hasn't taken each and every one of the shady characters and questionable associations and contributions of Obama's and blast the light of truth on them for all to see. Although I believe that most of the Obama supporters wouldn't recognize the light of the truth if it burnt a hole in their retinas.

Perhaps McCain is saving his "ACORNs" for the fall harvest.

I'm afraid that it will be 2 years into an Obama presidency before we realize that he is a Markist style Socialist.

God help us!

I'm baffled by those who believe that the federal government can throw more money at the current financial dibacle that they created and fix it! They are idiots, Barney Franks was singing the praises of Fannie and Freddie and now he is blaming everone but himself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAuOEdttjZQ IDIOTS!!! And we keep electing the same idiots to office. BIGGER IDIOTS!!!

Olympic moment

I just watched the US Olympic basketball team win the gold. Closer than what I would have expected but that made it a great finish. What a difference from 4 years ago when the Ego team blew it by being more concerned with chest pounding than playing for team and country. This team had it figured out and it was all about pride and team, and Kobe Bryant led the charge with patriotism and leadership both on and off the court. Kobe's interview with Chris Collinsworth and the teams appearance at various venues set them apart and made it easy to love this team as opposed to the disgust I had for the "04" so called dream team.

Thanks guys

Sports Thoughts in DFW

Wow! The Rangers are stinking it up big time. Here I had my hopes set on a second half run and the only run they are having is to the head. At least the Olympics is a nice distraction from this disaster.

On the bright side; Football season is right around the corner and right behind that the hockey season. Well bright side for me, not so much my wife.

My take on the Cowboys; I’m afraid that they are being over hyped and over rated, I know on paper they look like the team to beat but they don’t play the games on paper and they just don’t seem to have much depth at the skill positions. I fear the injury that will spell the end of our Super Bowl dreams.

My take on the Stars; It appears to me that the only thing the Stars have done this off season is get a year older. Their biggest acquisition is Sean Avery? For toughness and spunk you can’t fault the Stars but I don’t see a knuckle head like Sean Avery taking us to the promise land.

But what the heck, they still have to play the games and regardless of what the sports talk guys say nobody know what is going to happen.

Happy sports to all!

Rules of Deception

Just finished "Rules of Deception" by Christopher Reich, this is an interesting spy novel based on current world conditions and the conflicts and fears of the world community.

The basic premise is what happens when the lead character's wife of 8 years dies in a mountain climbing accident and he finds out that she is and has been a spy. Many twists and turns and surprises ensue.

Well worth the read.

The Last Patriot

Just finished Brad Thor's "The Last Patriot", I found it very intreging, full of historical facts with a DiVinci Code type story line. If you like historical novels that are a mixture of current events and historical background and a whole lot of thrilling action this is a must read.

I think we should elect Brad Thor as President. How great would it be to introduce the Pres. of the U.S. Brad Thor. What a great name for a world leader.

Al Gore / Mental Institution

Al Gore has absolutely lost his mind. He spouts out all the stats on how much the sun shines on the earth and how many ice cubes are in a polar cap. When he figures out all the answers to the stupid questions and so called facts he spews I will start to listen.

Funny how this global crisis keeps lining his pockets.

Obama vs Free Enterprise

OK, seeings how nobody seems to read this blog I will go ahead and vent my concern over the current political situation.

Has no one who proclaims the deity of Obama ever read history or looked into his very limited record (143 days of Senate experience). Socialism and Marxism aside, if you would just read his two books you would see a racist who wants to change the very core of what America was founded on, democracy and capitalism. The concept of the individual having the freedom to make his own way in this system without the hindrance of the federal government is completely opposite to his socialist dream for America. If you look at Europe you will see country after country turning their backs on their socialist governments in favor of a more democratic form of government, check out England, France, and Germany, plus many more of the smaller countries that spun off of the old Soviet Union. Margaret Thatcher saved Great Britain's economy by lowering their taxes and eliminating the social service network that they had suffered under for 40 years. Ronald Reagan saved our economy from the disaster that was the Jimmie Carter tax us into submission policies. Why go back to the Carter years when history shows us the folly of those social polices? I know that Obama is a good speaker and like a televangelist he can lure the simple minded into following him, but please, our freedom is at stake. Read his books, cliff note version may be all you can tolerate, check out his dismal record in the Senate and as an Illinois State Senator. Don't blindly follow this man, and his well written sound bites, down the primrose path to the destruction of the U.S. Constitution and the American free enterprise system.

I feel better now!

Texas Rangers Baseball

I am anxious to see what the Rangers do after the all star break. They have traditionally been a second half team but this team is so different from past teams, in that they are never out of a game, even when they are down by 5 or 6 runs going into the 9th you cannot assume that they can’t come back and win the game. Reminds me of the 68 and 84 Tigers, dare we dream so big!
In reality they are a very young team and that is something to hang your hat on for the rest of the season and as long as they don’t screw it up, for the foreseeable future.
