I know that the majority of it will come from the hearts and donations of our fellow Americans but what about federal relief funds?

Has this administration spent so much on social programs and pet projects and vacations and campaign trips that there isn't enough left for a real US emergency? Does Sara Fluke really believe that her sexual needs or wants trumps the needs of the disaster victims, really, tax payer money for birth control for college students, really????

Are we going to have to use borrowed money to take care of our own disaster victims in the US?

Lets get our priorities straight. The safety and security of the US citizen should be the first item on the budget. There needs to be monies available to take care of any disaster within our borders, that includes the disaster that is the border. Let's get the troupes out of areas in the world that don't want us and don't pay for our help and security of their nations to the detriment of our own. Let's have them within our own borders to protect the sovereignty of our nation and be available to help the citizenry in times of disaster.

Lets get the government out of our schools, kitchens, living rooms, offices, cars, gas stations, and bedrooms and get boots on the ground within the borders to protect and defend.

I feel better now, thank you.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02731511385055857200noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4672183224482511210.post-76488623551604029642011-07-02T19:42:00.000-05:002011-07-02T19:42:25.088-05:00Happy 4th of JulyHappy 4th of July, Let us all rejoice in our God given freedoms that we are so blessed to still be able to enjoy in this great country of ours.

OK that is probably not what he meant in his speech during the memorial service in Tucson but it just seems to me that our leaders love to use the children as the reason for everything. Lets get real and make decisions that are good for the nation, the world, and constitutional, that will be what is best for all including the children.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02731511385055857200noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4672183224482511210.post-37056137114020031212010-03-21T09:33:00.002-05:002010-03-21T09:40:25.569-05:00Oy VehThis health care bill stuff is making my head explode. There wasn't any "church business" discussions or social functions and calendar events discussed. There was a lot of praying for our brothers and sisters, but the main focus and primary goal was the knowledge and absolute neccesity of knowing Christ and how to talk to and walk with Him daily, no hourly, no every minute of our lives.

Since this time in Joshua our little group of 8 or 10 people have moved on in our lives, we now live in Arlington, TX, others have moved to other states and even other countries. The pastor of this group, Curtis Dougherty and his wife Jacque, now pastor a small church, or should I say body of believers, in Mt. Vernon, WA. From their home in Wa. they have started a radio broadcast called "Radio of the Master's Voice" http://radiomv.org/, where they broadcast spiritual teachings and music from various teachers/preachers 24/7. There is also a link to "Grace Chapel Video" which is where you can sit in on and interact with their Wednesday and Saturday evening meetings. The setting is different but the message is the same.

Now I know this is not probably not the most interesting of information on the surface and this is not intended to be a commercial, but the interesting thing about this is that one by one, or should I say two by two, our small group of hungry believers from Joshua are finding their way from all corners of the country to these online meetings and it is glorious! Last night a brother that we hadn't heard from in 20 years just popped on and blew us all away.

I know that the Lord's plans are bigger than just giving us the pleasure of finding old friends, although He does rejoice in our joy. Since the meeting last night this has been churning in my spirit, that something big is brewing, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that this calling back to hundreds if not thousands of basement/upper room meetings was going on throughout the world.

Jesus told us to worship in spirit and in truth, how can we do this amidst a congregation of hundreds or thousands of strangers? I know that this can be inspirational and a wonderful blessing but can your spirit be truthful with God with those thousands of eyes looking on? For me I have to say "very unlikely". We all have things deep in our souls that we have to take directly to the throne of God and lay at His feet as our sacrifice of worship, we cannot do this alone, we need the love and support of close brothers and sisters in the Lord who know how to help each other on a personnal basis.

Perhaps this is the calling I am hearing, a way to have loved ones close yet physically far away, a way to renew communication with the Lord in an intimate and personnal way and not loose communion with the body of Christ.

Is anyone else feeling/experiencing this?

I encourage all who may read this to check out Grace Chapel Video's and see if they inspire and renew your soul.

A lot of questions and few answers but hey that's just the way I roll.

God BlessAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02731511385055857200noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4672183224482511210.post-10139500175451910592009-12-23T20:42:00.004-06:002009-12-23T20:56:43.758-06:00Merry ChristmasOK so it has been about a year since the last blog but I doubt if anyone noticed.

Since my last blog I have been Obamasized (layed off) so rather than go to work for someone else I started my own company. Since when do we elect rulers? The last ruler we had was King George III and we didn't elect him.

John Podesta, remember him from the Clinton era?, said; "There's a lot the president can do using his executive authority without waiting for congressional action..."

The 1st amendment to the Constitution will be challenged with the "freedom of information act" which is no more than censorship.

The 2nd amendment will be challenged at every turn. Sarah Brady said; "I can tell you it hasn't been this good for quite a while!" The appointment of Rahm Emanuel as chief of staff looms large as an anti-gun activist his entire career.

If you think I am just being an alarmist check out who Obama has appointed as his science adviser; http://www.instituteforenergyresearch.org/2008/12/22/john-holdrens-intolerance-for-dissent/.

It is evident to me that the liberals in the Senate and House and the Obama staff have converted the government by the People to the ruling class of modern day fascism. Our liberties have already been greatly compromised through years of social programs that have enslaved half of our population and now this incoming administration is ready to go after the other half.

Check out the attached picture, does this look like the humble leader of a free "we the people"?

I'm just say'in, have your pocket Constitutions on hand and stock up for the long haul.

cb

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02731511385055857200noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4672183224482511210.post-18146451504292100212008-11-30T14:08:00.004-06:002008-11-30T14:33:54.114-06:00Thanksgiving Aftermath

So all the turkeys have been somewhat devoured, now it is time for leftovers (I love turkey sandwiches), and back to work on Monday.

So much to be thankfull for this year, my boys have good jobs and beautiful and happy families, my mother is well and happy with Tom who gives her love and companionship, Obamas not in office yet (althought you wouldn't know it to listen to the press).

Now I need to get back to work and burn some calories so I don't look like this! How can we flush 232 years of freedom down the toilet for a knee jerk emotional vote that appears to be happening.

Reports of our Military personnel's votes not counting because some state laws make it down right impossible for them to meet their requirements, and yet they will bus school age kids, homeless people who don't even know who is running, and college kids who have been propagandized to by their Marxist professors. If Obama is the next great leader of our country let the system work legally and let right and justice win out. I'm afraid it is too late to hope this will happen.

You don't believe that the followers of Barrack are voting on emotion? How about the leader of ACORN screaming in her little squeaky voice "we are going to help elect Barrack Obama". I find this all disgusting and disturbing.

Where is the common sense American? Closer than what I would have expected but that made it a great finish. What a difference from 4 years ago when the Ego team blew it by being more concerned with chest pounding than playing for team and country. This team had it figured out and it was all about pride and team, and Kobe Bryant led the charge with patriotism and leadership both on and off the court. Kobe's interview with Chris Collinsworth and the teams appearance at various venues set them apart and made it easy to love this team as opposed to the disgust I had for the "04" so called dream team.

Thanks guys

cb

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02731511385055857200noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4672183224482511210.post-18586394716968740612008-08-16T09:27:00.000-05:002008-08-16T09:28:59.792-05:00Sports Thoughts in DFWWow! The Rangers are stinking it up big time. Here I had my hopes set on a second half run and the only run they are having is to the head. At least the Olympics is a nice distraction from this disaster.

On the bright side; Football season is right around the corner and right behind that the hockey season. Well bright side for me, not so much my wife.

My take on the Cowboys; I’m afraid that they are being over hyped and over rated, I know on paper they look like the team to beat but they don’t play the games on paper and they just don’t seem to have much depth at the skill positions. I fear the injury that will spell the end of our Super Bowl dreams.

My take on the Stars; It appears to me that the only thing the Stars have done this off season is get a year older. Their biggest acquisition is Sean Avery? For toughness and spunk you can’t fault the Stars but I don’t see a knuckle head like Sean Avery taking us to the promise land.

But what the heck, they still have to play the games and regardless of what the sports talk guys say nobody know what is going to happen.

Happy sports to all!

cbAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02731511385055857200noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4672183224482511210.post-22342468138525137362008-08-11T18:00:00.004-05:002008-08-11T18:02:37.181-05:00Rules of Deception

Just finished "Rules of Deception" by Christopher Reich, this is an interesting spy novel based on current world conditions and the conflicts and fears of the world community.

The basic premise is what happens when the lead character's wife of 8 years dies in a mountain climbing accident and he finds out that she is and has been a spy. He spouts out all the stats on how much the sun shines on the earth and how many ice cubes are in a polar cap. When he figures out all the answers to the stupid questions and so called facts he spews I will start to listen.

Funny how this global crisis keeps lining his pockets.

cbAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02731511385055857200noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4672183224482511210.post-27110000501171006962008-07-13T13:22:00.002-05:002008-07-13T13:27:36.080-05:00Obama vs Free EnterpriseOK, seeings how nobody seems to read this blog I will go ahead and vent my concern over the current political situation.

Has no one who proclaims the deity of Obama ever read history or looked into his very limited record (143 days of Senate experience). Socialism and Marxism aside, if you would just read his two books you would see a racist who wants to change the very core of what America was founded on, democracy and capitalism. The concept of the individual having the freedom to make his own way in this system without the hindrance of the federal government is completely opposite to his socialist dream for America. If you look at Europe you will see country after country turning their backs on their socialist governments in favor of a more democratic form of government, check out England, France, and Germany, plus many more of the smaller countries that spun off of the old Soviet Union. Margaret Thatcher saved Great Britain's economy by lowering their taxes and eliminating the social service network that they had suffered under for 40 years. Ronald Reagan saved our economy from the disaster that was the Jimmie Carter tax us into submission policies. Why go back to the Carter years when history shows us the folly of those social polices? I know that Obama is a good speaker and like a televangelist he can lure the simple minded into following him, but please, our freedom is at stake. Read his books, cliff note version may be all you can tolerate, check out his dismal record in the Senate and as an Illinois State Senator. Don't blindly follow this man, and his well written sound bites, down the primrose path to the destruction of the U.S. Constitution and the American free enterprise system.

I feel better now!

CB

Here is a link that explains the Thatcher legacy: http://www.hillsdale.edu/news/imprimis.asp
Here is a link of an excerpt from a Ronald Reagan speech on free enterprise: http://www.hillsdale.edu/news/imprimis/archive/issue.asp?year=1978&month=01Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02731511385055857200noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4672183224482511210.post-4641749226059516012008-07-13T13:15:00.001-05:002008-07-13T13:18:27.945-05:00Texas Rangers BaseballI am anxious to see what the Rangers do after the all star break. They have traditionally been a second half team but this team is so different from past teams, in that they are never out of a game, even when they are down by 5 or 6 runs going into the 9th you cannot assume that they can’t come back and win the game. Reminds me of the 68 and 84 Tigers, dare we dream so big!

In reality they are a very young team and that is something to hang your hat on for the rest of the season and as long as they don’t screw it up, for the foreseeable future.

cbAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02731511385055857200noreply@blogger.com0
